Night-Tour and Smart-Park Lighting: Plan the Visitor Journey
A visitor route needs more than a list of luminous objects. Prepare a route, operating timetable and maintenance plan to discuss a lighting concept appropriate to your site.
Sequence a night-tour route
Map entrances, circulation, stopping points and exits before choosing effects. Identify the desired sequence and how people move between installations. Share expected opening hours and nearby uses that may be sensitive to light or sound. The proposal should explain how scenes fit the route; avoid basing the purchase on a promised visitor increase without project-specific evidence.
Make park interaction usable
Describe who will use each interaction and the space available around it. Review accessibility, clear circulation and the intended response with the project designer. Ask how the installation behaves when no one participates and how it can be stopped or bypassed for maintenance. The scene should fit everyday operation, not only a demonstration attended by a technical team.
Plan daily operation
Provide the normal timetable, special-event schedule and staffing arrangements. Ask which controls the operator will receive and how settings are restored after an interruption. Plan access to components without obstructing the visitor route longer than necessary. Confirm who can change content or schedules and what support is included after handover.
Review public-space constraints
A site survey should identify available services, exposure, support structures and maintenance access. Local designers and installers should assess safety and approvals for the specific location. Request documentation for the equipment actually proposed. A visual concept is not a completed installation design, so keep unresolved structural, electrical and environmental requirements visible in the project brief.
