Interactive Lighting: A Brief for Integrators and Channel Partners
For project integrators and specialist distributors, the first step is a clear scope. Use our interactive lighting applications to shape a customer brief that can become a comparable technical and commercial proposal.
Define the buyer and the operating site
Describe who owns the site, who will operate it and which visitor experience the customer wants. A park operator, retail developer and tourism project may need different installation and handover arrangements. Start with the relevant application on our site and send a concise brief. Ask which parts of the proposed package are supplied and which require your local team or other contractors.
Separate equipment from services
List equipment, structures, controls, content, installation and commissioning as separate scope items. Clarify whether the proposal covers design assistance, remote support or on-site work and under what terms. This helps your team compare offers with the same responsibilities. Do not assume a displayed project scene means every supporting service is included in a standard equipment price.
Prepare a demonstration request
Select one representative interaction for a demonstration: the trigger, intended response, response time and fallback behavior. Request a demonstration of the proposed configuration rather than an unrelated showreel. Record what was demonstrated and what still depends on final site design. Use that record to align your client’s expectations with the later purchase and acceptance specification.
Plan partner responsibilities
Agree who manages site surveys, foundations, power, networking, permits, visitor safety and after-sales response. Identify the approval contact on each side and the information required before manufacture or installation. If your business will support the end customer, request the relevant manuals and training scope. A responsibility matrix helps prevent gaps between the equipment supplier, integrator and site operator.
